On April 24th, 2024, we learned that an important platform for handmade and regional products would be closing. This brought uncertainty for many merchants and artisans. But from this challenge, a new opportunity arose.
In response to a strong community request, we adjusted our roadmap and further developed VRon.one’s backend to serve as a flexible home similar to handgemacht.at. This allows all merchants looking for a new digital home to access a simple, modern, and powerful platform to continue selling their products successfully.
By June 2024, the new offering went live—and since then, more and more artists, artisans, and local producers have found a reliable home here with everything they need to succeed in online commerce.
